Introduction
Cinnamon Brow is an area on the east side of Warrington close to Orford and Fearnhead.
The district is named after Cinnamon Brow farm and Cinnamon Brook. Its street names have a Scottish feel about them – Solway Close, Montrose Close, Perth Close, Dundee Close and Shetland Close, to name just a few.

Radio Warrington
Radio Warrington, the town’s online station, which now broadcasts on DAB, was based at Cinnamon Brow Farm Community Centre on Perth Close until it moved into Warrington Market. Its two studios occupied space in the building behind the car in the second image.

Cinnamon Brow CE Primary School
Cinnamon Brow CE Primary School is on Perth Close, close to the community centre and local shop.

Waterways
Spittle Brook
Spittle Brook, a tributary of the River Mersey, runs through the east of the district, with Cinnamon Brook to the north. On 2 January 2016 the Warrington Guardian reported on local resident concerns over the effects of work to improve the area’s defences around Spittle Brook. For more on the report see the Warrington Guardian.

Houghton Mill Bridge
Houghton Mill Bridge is located in the centre of the district and named after Houghton Mill. The bridge crosses Black Brook, the eastern section of which was called Mill Brook on the OS 1: 25,000, 1937-61 map. The mill is remembered today in Mill Close.
